چکیده
Abstract High‐resolution interseismic strain mapping is important for studying faulting behavior and assessing seismic hazards. Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar has been widely applied to measure deformation along active strike‐slip faults. However, phase unwrapping errors over‐smoothing effects limit its ability map the extremely‐high due shallow creep. Here, without involvement of ground‐based measurement, we perform phase‐gradient stacking on wrapped Sentinel‐1 interferograms directly shear rates North Anatolian Fault (NAF) with unprecedented resolution. The derived high‐resolution strain‐rate reveals five strain‐concentrated segments NAF, implying creeps. We find that their spatial distribution coincides lower coseismic slip previous earthquakes occurred since 1939. proposed method can be other less‐studied faults distinguish creep strong coupling, thus better quantify budget associated

Coseismic Deformation and Slip Distribution of the 1997 Mw7.5 Manyi, Tibet, Earthquake from InSAR Measurements
We use interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) observations to investigate the coseismic deformation and slip distribution of the 1997 Mw7.5 Manyi earthquake, a left-lateral strike-slip earthquake occurred on the west portion of the Kunlun fault in the northern Tibet, China. The fault trace is constrained by the combination of interferometric coherence image and azimuth offset image. T...

Constellations of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with short repeat time acquisitions allow exploration of active faults behavior with unprecedented temporal resolution. [1] We present high-resolution measurements of interseismic deformation along the central section of the North Anatolian Fault (NAF) in Turkey using interferometric synthetic aperture radar data from the Advanced Land Observing Satellite and Envisat missions. We generated maps of satellite line-of-sight velocity using five ascending Advanced Land Observing Satellite tracks and one descending En...
